Message from Rescue:
Found wandering the urban streets…all alone, unloved, scared…brought to a local, N. J. shelter…petrified and shutting down rapidly…This was the beginning for sweet Lucy, saved by Rescue Ridge from a local, N. J. shelter and is now in a foster home. We think she is just 2 years old, a Catahoula Hound/ Bulldog mix with her sweet, big head, and her short, strong little body. She has blossomed in a short while into a flower…nurtured by love and attention…hope brought back into her strikingly beautiful blue and brown eyes. Lucy walks beautifully on leash, takes treats gently, knows “Sit” and yearns to cuddle with you every chance she gets. She is a lovely girl and is probably best in a quieter home, one with adults or older children, around age 10 and older. Lucy is dog friendly, if you introduce her properly and give her a few minutes to trust the other dog. She is housebroken and crate trained and has excellent house manners. She takes toys, treats and food gently and promises to bring you all of her love. Will you bring her yours? Check out Lucy in her video debut:https://youtu.be/
