Meet Ragnar!
We are so glad you came across Ragnar!!! Ragnar is a big boy, and weighs a bit over 75 pounds. He is a 3 year old, male, very large husky and likely has some Malamute in him. He is crate and house trained. He LOVES to go hiking and will hike 30+ miles with no problem, and at night his favorite thing to do is sit out by the fire and sing. He does have a very high prey drive and loves to pull so walking him, even with an easy walk collar, isn’t always easy but he is getting better. For this reason we will require the adopters own/rent a home with a fenced in yard. He also knows how to; sit, lay, shake and will catch treats if you toss them in the air to him. He is great with all dogs (big and small) but we are not sure about cats or children yet.
The adoption fee for this sweet boy is $200. That fee covers his neuter, up-to-date vaccines, heartworm test, and microchip. He is also current on all preventatives, including flea/tick and heartworm. To submit an application, or learn more about adopting Ragnar visit our website at www.opedanimalrescue.com or email us opedanimalrescue@gmail.com.
